REWAISE will present advances at the International Desalination Association (IDA) World Congress during the week of the 9th to the 13th of October in Sidney, Australia, at the International Convention Centre.
This event focuses on securing a sustainable future and chart progress toward resilient processes, technologies, and communities. Desalination and water reuse provide solutions to efficiently meet the growing demand for water, mitigate threats to water security, and secure water for all.
On 12 October, REWAISE introduces its innovative solutions in a session on “Emerging Technologies in Desalination and Water Reuse”, with Dr. Víctor Monsalvo, Head of Aqualia’s Eco-efficiency Area presenting. The session is titled REWAISE. A Smart Water Ecosystem for a Sustainable and Efficient Water Cycle in Europe”.
Following this session, Victor Monsalvo will also participate in two other talks on sustainable desalination and resource recovery, presenting the H2020 projects MIDESH2020, Toward the Validation of MDC Technology for Low Energy Drinking Water Production, as well as REWAISE’s parallel project Sea4value, Novel Technologies in Seawater Desalination to Extract Minerals and Metals from Seawater Brines, in the session “Novel treatment processes for resource recovery”.
