The IWA Benchmarking and Performance Assessment Specialist Group (SG BPA) presents and discusses benchmarking- and performance assessment experiences and -projects around the world. Since 2007, this series of PI-conferences is a traditional, biennial forum to exchange ideas and methodologies. The next edition, PI2023, will take place in parallel with the Amsterdam International Water Week on 7 & 8 November 2023 and is co-organised with IWC (International Water Conferences).

New in PI2023 will be performance assessment in regulatory frameworks and novel topics such as how to measure sustainability in the water sector and other aspects related to a water sector in transition.
